An intimate wedding dinner, a confirmation lunch or a christening meal, served as courses for one long table in the centre of Bergen.
The celebration
One table, one menu, no queue
For the celebrations that matter we write the menu with you in advance: a sequence of shared courses, sashimi and nigiri, warm plates from the robata, and a dessert with the occasion written on it. Service is paced around speeches and photographs rather than the other way round.
Our two private rooms take up to 14 guests and can be closed off for the whole event. For larger parties we can arrange seating in the dining room — write to us with the date and number of guests.
What we take care of
A menu written with you
Chosen together in advance, with a fixed price per guest and room for allergies, children and vegetarians.
Speeches and timing
We agree the running order beforehand so courses land between speeches, not during them.
Drinks and cake
Welcome champagne, wine or sake pairings, and a dessert course we can dress for the occasion.
FAQ
Planning your celebration
- How many guests can you seat?
- Up to 14 in a private room. Larger parties can be seated in the dining room by arrangement — contact us with your numbers.
- Can we have the room to ourselves?
- Yes. Both private rooms can be closed off from the dining room for the duration of your event.
- Can you handle children and special diets?
- Yes. Tell us in advance and we adapt portions and dishes. All dishes carry allergen codes, and our wasabi contains mustard.
- How far in advance should we book?
- As early as you can, especially for weekends and the confirmation season in spring. Email us and we will hold the date.
