The experience

One menu, decided each morning

Our tasting menus are written around what arrives from the coast. Nothing is fixed in advance; the chefs decide the order, the cuts and the finish, and the table simply follows. It is the most complete way to eat at NAMA — and the easiest, because there is nothing to choose.

Current tasting menus, prices and allergen codes are listed on the à la carte menu under NAMA Experience.

Tasting menus
  1. 01

    Zensai

Small cold openers — edamame, tartar, marinated seafood — to set the palate.

  2. 02

    Sashimi

The day's cleanest cuts, sliced to order and served unadorned.

  3. 03

    Nigiri

Hand-pressed pieces, paced one at a time, finished at the counter.

  4. 04

    Robata

Charcoal fire: black cod, wagyu, vegetables cooked over glowing binchō heat.

  5. 05

    Kanmi

A quiet sweet close — yuzu, matcha or sesame, depending on the season.

FAQ

About the omakase

What is omakase?
Omakase means 'I leave it up to you'. Instead of ordering dish by dish, you hand the choice to the chef, who builds a sequence around the best produce that day.
How long does the tasting menu take?
Allow around two hours. The pace is set by the kitchen, moving from cold cuts through izakaya plates to robata fire.
Can the menu be adapted for allergies?
Yes. Tell us when you book and the kitchen will rework the sequence where possible. Our wasabi contains mustard.
Do you need to book the omakase in advance?
We recommend it, especially for groups. Book online or call us 55 32 20 10.
