Dining in Bergen, from a kitchen that lives here

Bergen's first Japanese restaurant, in the old town behind Bryggen. Here is everything a visitor needs: distances, hours, what to order and how to get a table.

Getting here

Lodin Lepps gate 2B, 5003 Bergen. Behind Bryggen, a short walk from the Fish Market, Fløibanen and the Bybanen light rail.

From the cruise berths

10–20 minutes on foot along the harbour from Skolten or Jekteviken, or a short taxi ride.

Language

Our team speaks English and Norwegian, and all menus carry English descriptions and allergen codes.

Between sightseeing

Lunch runs served daily 11:00 – 16:00 — a calm stop between the funicular, the wharf and a fjord tour.

What to order

Norwegian seafood, Japanese hands

Start with oysters and sashimi of Norwegian salmon, move through nigiri from the counter, then let the robata grill take over. If you would rather not choose, the omakase gives you the day's best cuts in sequence.

For a quick stop between sights, the lunch menu runs all afternoon, and takeaway is ready for collection on your way back to the hotel or ship.
